MEBEVERINE-SR Each sustained-release capsule contains 200 mg of mebeverine hydrochloride. Indications: For the symptomatic relief of irritable bowel syndrome. Dosage: One 200 mg capsule twice daily, one capsule in the morning, the second capsule in the evening. Paediatric population MEBEVERINE-SR is not recommended for use in children and adolescents under 18 years of age due to insufficient data on safety and efficacy. The duration of use is not limited. If one or more doses are missed, the patient should continue taking the medication as prescribed with the next dose. It is not recommended to add missed doses to regularly scheduled doses. Administration: Adults (including the elderly): Capsules should be swallowed with a sufficient amount of water (at least 100 ml of water). They should not be chewed, as the coating is intended to ensure the sustained-release mechanism. Shelf life: 3 years Storage: Store below 30°C. Protect from light and moisture.
