The medication is intended for rectal use and not for oral administration. Instructions for use: At the time of use, as soon as the cap of the cannula-shaped container is removed, the container should be held vertically with the tip upwards and gentle pressure applied so that a few drops moisten the tip of the cannula to facilitate its insertion into the rectum. Once the tip of the cannula is inserted into the rectum, the entire contents of the container should be emptied by squeezing the container and then slowly withdrawn without releasing the pressure on the container walls. To reduce evacuation, the buttocks should be squeezed together for as long as possible to allow the medication to act fully. The specified dose is guaranteed even if there is residual medication in the container after administration. Each single-use container should be used only once and discarded after use. If an obstruction is encountered during administration, discontinue use as it may be harmful and consult a doctor. If symptoms do not improve within 7 days, treatment should be discontinued and medical advice should be sought. Overdose of Canova Children: Intoxication is not expected with overdose. Prolonged and extensive use of large quantities of the medication may lead to irritable bowel syndrome (symptoms or discomfort such as alternating constipation and diarrhea, intestinal spasms, abdominal bloating, nausea, and flatulence). In case of overdose or accidental ingestion, seek immediate medical attention or consult a pharmacist. Possible side effects: During the use of glycerin rectal solution as a laxative, side effects have been reported with unknown frequency: itching, pain, and irritation of the anus.
