What is it?
International Nonproprietary Name - phenyramidol HCL Clinical-pharmacological group: Central Nervous System → Muscle Relaxants → Centrally Acting Muscle Relaxants Indications Pain in the back, lumbago, sciatica, intervertebral disc damage, medical-mechanical injury, as well as for supportive therapy during underwater massages. Dosage and Administration 1 ampule intramuscularly daily. Side Effects In rare cases, allergic skin reactions may occur. Contraindications Precautions: Intramuscular administration is well tolerated. In rare cases, dizziness may occur after injection. In such cases, rest for 1 hour is recommended after injection procedures. Drug Interactions Miodol increases the therapeutic efficacy of anticoagulants, tolbutamide, and diphenylhydantoin. Storage Conditions and Shelf Life In packaged form, the preparation should be stored at a temperature below 25°C, in a place protected from children. Use only as prescribed by a doctor. After prolonged storage of the ampule in the cold, crystallization of its contents may occur; this does not constitute a contraindication for its use, as the contents will be restored after warming the ampule.
