What is it?
Name - Mukaltin Syrup 125ml Bottle with Raspberry Flavor #1 Composition Active substance: Mukaltin (dry extract of the above-ground parts of Tukhata) – 2.0g; Excipients: Raspberry and strawberry flavorings, sorbic acid or methylparaben, ethyl alcohol, sugar syrup up to 125.0g. The plants included in the preparation contain a complex of biologically active substances: mucilage, essential oils, flavonoids (quercetin, kaempferol), coumarins, anthocyanins, organic acids (citric, malic, salicylic), vitamin C, pectin substances, carotene. Pharmacological properties Mukaltin syrup soothes cough, coats the damaged mucous membrane with a thin layer, softens and dissolves dense, inflammatory deposits (throat, larynx, vocal cords), accelerates the regeneration of the damaged mucous membrane, protects the nerve endings of the respiratory tract from irritation, improves appetite, reduces thirst. Indications Acute and chronic diseases of the respiratory tract: • Bronchitis; • Pneumonia; • Bronchiectasis; • Tracheitis; • Laryngitis; • Angina; Dosage and administration Orally, before meals. Adults: 15ml syrup 3-4 times a day. Children aged 1 to 3 years: 2.5ml syrup 2-3 times a day; Children aged 3 to 6 years: 5ml syrup 2-3 times a day; Children aged 6 to 12 years: 10ml syrup 2-3 times a day; (May be taken diluted in water at the indicated doses). The duration of the treatment course is determined individually by the doctor. Missed dose: If a dose is missed, do not take a double dose. The next dose should be taken as soon as possible or according to the original schedule. Use in pediatrics: Not used in children under one year of age. Side effects Allergic reactions. If side effects occur, the patient should stop treatment and consult a doctor. If side effects not listed in the instructions for use occur, the patient should consult their treating physician or pharmacist. Contraindications • Diabetes mellitus. • Due to the presence of strawberry flavoring in the syrup, allergic skin rash with severe itching may occur individually.
