What is it?

International Nonproprietary Name - pyridoxine, thiamine, lidocaine Clinical-pharmacological group: Vitamins, multivitamins, trace elements → Vitamin preparations → Water-soluble vitamins → B group vitamins Instructions for use: Information for the user Neiraxin B (100 mg/100 mg/1 mg/20 mg)/2 ml, solution for injection Pyridoxini hydrochloridum, Thiamini hydrochloridum, Cyanocobalaminum, Lidocaini hydrochloridum What is Neiraxin B and what is it used for The active substances of Neiraxin B are pyridoxine hydrochloride (vitamin B6), thiamine hydrochloride (vitamin B1), cyanocobalamin (vitamin B12), lidocaine hydrochloride. Neiraxin B is used in adults and children over 12 years of age for the treatment of hematological and neurological symptoms caused by chronic deficiency of vitamins B1, B6, and B12. How Neiraxin B is used Always use this medicine exactly as your doctor has told you. If you have any questions, ask your doctor or pharmacist. This medicine is for intramuscular (i.m.) use only, not for intravenous (i.v.) use. In case of accidental intravenous administration, medical supervision or hospitalization is required depending on the severity of the symptoms. Your doctor will determine the required dose and frequency of injections. Adults and children over 12 years of age In case of severe and acute symptoms: Usually, one injection (2 ml) is used once a day to achieve high levels of active substances in the blood. After the acute phase is controlled and in case of less severe symptoms, 1 injection is used 2-3 times a week. Elderly patients Dose adjustment is not required. Pediatric population Neiraxin B solution for injection is not used in children under 12 years of age. Instructions for opening the ampoule: 1. Hold the ampoule with the colored dot facing upwards. If there is solution in the upper part of the ampoule, tap gently with your finger to collect the solution completely in the lower part of the ampoule. 2. Use both hands for opening; hold the lower part of the ampoule with one hand and break the upper part of the ampoule with the other hand by applying pressure on the colored dot. If you have used more Neiraxin B than you should have Since this medication is given to you under medical supervision, it is unlikely that you will receive more or less Neiraxin B than necessary. If you have the impression that the effect of Neiraxin B is too strong or too weak, consult your doctor or nurse. Possible side effects Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them. Undesirable side effects are listed taking into account their frequency of occurrence: Rare (affects less than 1 in 1,000 patients) - Hypersensitivity reactions (skin rash, respiratory depression, shock, angioedema). Benzyl alcohol: Hypersensitivity reactions. Very rare (affects less than 1 in 10,000 patients) - Palpitations (tachycardia). - Profuse sweating, acne, skin reactions - itching and urticaria. Unknown (cannot be estimated based on available data) - Vertigo, disturbance of consciousness. - Slowing of heart rate (bradycardia), heart rhythm disturbances. - Vomiting. - Convulsions. - Systemic reactions, including central nervous system excitation and/or depression (coordination disorders, nervousness, feeling of danger, euphoria, confusion, dizziness, disturbance of consciousness, ringing in the ears, blurred vision and double vision, vomiting, feeling of cold or heat) may occur as a result of rapid injection (accidental intravenous injection, injection into tissues with good blood supply) or overdose.
