Combined medication Clinical-pharmacological group: Ophthalmology → Anti-inflammatory agents for topical use in ophthalmology → Glucocorticosteroids; Neladex composition Composition of 1 ml of the preparation: Active substance: Neomycin sulfate 6500 IU, Polymyxin B sulfate 10000 IU, Dexamethasone sodium metasulfobenzoate 0.25 mg, Phenylephrine hydrochloride 2.5 mg. Excipients: Methylparahydroxybenzoate, Sodium chloride, Citric acid monohydrate, Macrogol 400, Polysorbate 80, Sodium hydroxide and/or Hydrochloric acid, Purified water. Pharmacotherapeutic group: Decongestants and other nasal preparations for topical use. Dexamethasone in combination; Indications for use: Infectious and inflammatory diseases of the nasal cavity, pharynx, paranasal sinuses: acute and chronic rhinitis; acute and chronic rhinopharyngitis; sinusitis Method of administration and dosage of nasal spray Neladex spray is intended for nasal use only; In adults, 1 spray in each nostril 3-5 times a day. Neladex in children, for children aged 2.5 to 15 years - 1 spray in each nostril 3 times a day. The duration of treatment is 5-10 days; Contraindications Hypersensitivity to the components of the preparation; Suspicion of angle-closure glaucoma; Concomitant use with monoamine oxidase inhibitors; Viral diseases; Kidney diseases with albuminuria; Renal failure; Pregnancy; Lactation; Children under 2.5 years of age. Special instructions Neladex GPS should be used with caution in patients with arterial hypertension, ischemic heart disease, and hyperthyroidism. It should be taken into account that the components of the preparation may cause a positive result in doping control tests for athletes. Prolonged use of the preparation in high doses may lead to systemic effects. Neladex is not used for irrigation of paranasal sinuses. Avoid contact with eyes. In case of accidental contact with eyes or other mucous membranes, they should be immediately flushed with a large amount of water. Use in pediatrics. For children under 2.5 years of age, the efficacy and safety data of Neladex NS preparation have not been established.
