What is it?
International Nonproprietary Name - Magnesium+Pyridoxinum Composition One Nex coated tablet contains active ingredients: Magnesium ion (Mg+) – 400 mg and Pyridoxine hydrochloride (Vitamin B6) – 2.8 mg. Mechanism of Action Nex is a means to improve metabolic processes in the body, which contains magnesium and pyridoxine (Vitamin B6) as active components. Magnesium is a vitally important element that participates in metabolic processes in the body and is essential for normal cell function. It improves the conduction of nerve impulses to muscles. Magnesium enters the body with food. Magnesium deficiency in the body is caused by dietary disorders (diet), increased demand for magnesium, and disorders of magnesium metabolism and excretion processes (e.g., during increased physical and mental exertion, stress, pregnancy, or when taking diuretics). Pyridoxine (Vitamin B6) participates in many metabolic processes and in the regulation of nervous system metabolism. Vitamin B6 improves magnesium absorption from the gastrointestinal tract and its penetration into cells. Vitamin B6 increases magnesium absorption by 20-40%. Indications Nex is recommended for the prevention of magnesium deficiency. Magnesium deficiency in the body manifests with the following symptoms: • Nervousness, irritability, mild anxiety, fatigue, sleep disturbances; • Manifestations of anxiety such as spasms of the gastrointestinal tract or palpitations (without heart disease); • Muscle contractions, tingling sensation, involuntary movements of the eyelids; • Conditions caused by physical and mental overexertion; • Muscle pain and spasms; • Asthenia. Magnesium intake alleviates these symptoms. Contraindications • Increased sensitivity to the components; • Severe renal insufficiency (creatinine clearance <30 ml/min); • Children under 6 years of age; • Hypermagnesemia, hypervitaminosis B6; • Concomitant use with Levodopa. Precautions Use with caution in moderate renal insufficiency due to the risk of developing hypermagnesemia. Nex is a biologically active supplement and should not be used as a substitute for a complete diet. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose! Effect on Driving and Operating Machinery Nex does not affect the ability to drive or operate machinery. Dosage and Administration Take orally, 1 tablet per day. Take the tablet with a sufficient amount of water, during meals. Side Effects Allergic reactions may occur.
