What is it?
International Nonproprietary Name - passiflora, humulus lupulus, valeriana Clinical-pharmacological group: Central Nervous System → Anxiolytics and Hypnotics → Phytopreparations Composition One tablet of the preparation contains: 40 mg of dry extract of Passiflora incarnata, 100 mg of dry extract of Humulus lupulus, 100 mg of dry extract of Valeriana officinalis. Excipients: Sorbitol, magnesium salts of fatty acids Indications - Restlessness, anxiety - Mild forms of neurasthenia, post-stress conditions, fear, with accompanying tension, tachycardia, and shortness of breath - Increased excitability, irritability - Emotional tension or depression - Decreased concentration - Sleep disturbances - Headaches and migraines caused by nervous tension (as part of combination therapy) - Climacteric syndrome - "Manager's syndrome" (state of constant mental tension) - Angioneurosis (cardiovascular system) and vegetoneurosis (vegeto-vascular dystonia) Dosage and Administration For adults, it is recommended to take 1-2 tablets two to three times a day for a prolonged period. For older children, 1 tablet one to three times a day. Tablets should be taken whole, without chewing, with a small amount of liquid. Mechanism of Action: Nevrozal is a combined preparation of plant origin with a moderate sedative effect. The preparation reduces tension, anxiety, irritability, helps restore mental balance, improve sleep, regulates heart function, has pronounced antispasmodic properties, and enhances the secretory activity of the gastrointestinal mucosa. The effect of Nevrozal is due to the combined action of biologically active substances from plant extracts: Passiflora (passionflower) calms the central nervous system, has anticonvulsant and hypnotic effects, without unpleasant sensations upon waking. Hops have a calming effect on the central nervous system, reduce pain, the possibility of developing cramps, and have a mild hypnotic effect. Valerian promotes natural sleep. The sedative effect develops gradually and is stable. Nevrozal has a long-lasting therapeutic effect. Side Effects Rarely, manifestations of hypersensitivity.
