What is it?
Name - Normogrip Capsule #14 What is Normogrip hard capsules and their use Normogrip hard capsules are a combination of paracetamol (painkiller and antipyretic), chlorphenamine (antihistamine that relieves nasal secretions) and phenylephrine (reduces nasal congestion). This medication is indicated for the relief of symptoms during catarrhal or flu-like processes characterized by pain (mild to moderate), fever, nasal congestion or runny nose in adults and children over 12 years of age. Medical consultation is required if the patient does not feel better, their condition worsens, or fever persists for more than 3 days, or pain lasts for more than 5 days. How to take Normogrip hard capsules The medication should always be taken exactly as prescribed by your doctor or pharmacist. Consult your doctor or pharmacist if you are unsure. Dosage Adults and adolescents over 12 years of age: The recommended dose is 1 capsule every 6-8 hours (3-4 capsules per day). The maximum recommended dose is 6 capsules. Do not exceed 3g of paracetamol in 24 hours. Patients with liver or kidney damage: Medical consultation is required (see section 2: What you need to know before taking the medication). Use in children under 12 years of age: Children under 12 years of age should not take this medication. Use in elderly patients: Elderly patients should not take this medication without consulting a doctor, as certain side effects, such as slow heart rate (bradycardia) or reduced heart rate, may develop due to the presence of phenylephrine and chlorphenamine. Also, side effects such as drowsiness, blurred consciousness, hypotension or agitation may be more pronounced, and they may be more sensitive to effects such as dry mouth and urinary retention. Method of administration This medicinal product is for oral use. Take 1 capsule with a small amount of liquid, preferably half a glass of water. This medication is used when symptoms are present. Treatment should be discontinued if symptoms disappear. If pain lasts for more than 5 days, fever for more than 3 days, or if pain or fever worsens, or if other symptoms appear, treatment should be discontinued and medical consultation is required.
