What is it?

International Nonproprietary Name - ibuprofen Clinical-pharmacological group: Anti-inflammatory drugs → Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs → Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs for systemic use → Propionic acid derivatives with pronounced analgesic effect Pharmacotherapeutic group. Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug. Indications for use Children's suspension is used in children aged 3 months to 12 years for symptomatic treatment as an antipyretic agent for acute respiratory diseases (including influenza), childhood infections, other infectious and inflammatory diseases, and post-vaccination reactions accompanied by fever. The drug is used as a symptomatic analgesic for mild to moderate pain syndrome, including: toothache, headache, migraine, neuralgia, earache, sore throat, sprains, muscle pain, rheumatic pain, and joint pain. The drug is intended for symptomatic therapy, for reducing pain and inflammation at the time of use, and does not affect the progression of the disease. Method of administration and dosage. Children's suspension, specially developed for children. For oral administration. In patients with increased stomach sensitivity, it is recommended to take the drug during meals. For short-term use only. Read the instructions carefully before using the drug. Shake the bottle well before use. A convenient graduated syringe is included for accurate measurement of the drug dose. 5 ml of the drug contains 100 mg of ibuprofen or 20 mg of ibuprofen per 1 ml. Using the graduated syringe: Insert the syringe firmly into the neck of the bottle. Turn the bottle upside down and slowly pull the plunger down, drawing the suspension into the syringe up to the required mark. Return the bottle to its original position and remove the syringe by slowly twisting it. Place the syringe in the oral cavity and slowly press the plunger, releasing the suspension slowly. After use, rinse the syringe with warm water and dry it in a place inaccessible to children. Fever and pain: Dosage for children depends on the child's age and body weight. The maximum daily dose should not exceed 30 mg/kg of body weight, with intervals of 6-8 hours between doses. Children aged 3-6 months (body weight 5-7.6 kg): 2.5 ml (50 mg) up to 3 times in 24 hours, not more than 7.5 ml (150 mg) per day. Children aged 6-12 months (body weight 7.7 - 9 kg): 2.5 ml (50 mg) up to 3-4 times in 24 hours, not more than 10 ml (200 mg) per day.
