What is it?
Octenisept Composition: 100 g of solution contains: Active substances: 0.1 g octenidine dihydrochloride, 2.0 g phenoxyethanol (Eur. Pharm.); Other ingredients: (3-cocamidopropyl) dimethyl ammonium acetate, sodium D-gluconate, glycerol 85%, sodium chloride, purified water, sodium hydroxide. Pharmacotherapeutic group: Antiseptic for wounds and mucous membranes. Indications: Wound treatment, antiseptic treatment of traumatic, acute, chronic and surgical wounds plus burns. Antiseptic for mucous membranes: before diagnostic and operative interventions in the oral and anogenital area, before incision, before insertion of a single or permanent transurethral catheter. Antibacterial whole-body bathing of patients colonized with MRSA. Effective against: bacteria, including Chlamydia and Mycoplasma - against cocci and yeast (trichomonads) - against viruses (Herpes simplex, Hepatitis B virus, Hepatitis C virus, HIV). Indicated for the treatment of all types of wounds: bite, scratch, cut, burn, graze, ulcerated, infected (diabetic foot). On mucous membranes - for the treatment of any damaged area (rhinitis, angina, sinusitis, vaginitis, colpitis). Special Instructions: Broad antiseptic spectrum of action, rapid onset of action, within 1 minute of application, well tolerated by skin and mucous membranes, can be used in infants and premature babies, painless application. Starts acting immediately after application. Protects against infection. Promotes healing. Does not require bandaging. Prolonged contact with mucous membranes - more than 30 seconds - and ingestion are not permitted. Does not contain alcohol. Not allergenic and has no age restrictions.
