International Nonproprietary Name - Cytochromum C+Adenosinum+Nicotinamidum Contents: Active substance: Cytochrome C 0.675 mg/ml, Adenosine 2 mg/ml, Nicotinamide 20 mg/ml. Other substances: Benzalkonium chloride 40 mg/ml, Sodium succinate, Sorbitol, Disodium phosphate dihydrate, Sodium dihydrogen phosphate dihydrate, Water for injection Pharmacotherapeutic group: Cataract treatment preparation Indications for use: Oftan Catarochrom eye drops are used for the treatment of cataracts. To avoid complications, use the drops only as prescribed by an ophthalmologist. Contraindications: Oftan Catarochrom eye drops are contraindicated in case of allergy to any component of the preparation. Dosage and administration: Recommended dosage: 1-2 drops in the affected eye three times a day. Side effects: Oftan Catarochrom eye drops are characterized by good tolerability. After instillation, short-term burning and redness of the eye are rarely observed. Very rarely, nausea, decreased blood pressure, shortness of breath, feeling of heat, dizziness, weakness, and pulsation in the head are observed. If the mentioned effects of the preparation do not stop, or if other unpleasant symptoms appear that are not listed here, consult your doctor. Use in children: The use of Oftan Catarochrom eye drops in children is not recommended due to insufficient clinical data.
