What is it?
Olyx Composition: 1 g of OlyxTM-0.1 ointment contains 1.0 mg of tacrolimus (0.1% w/w). Indications: OlyxTM-0.1 ointment is used in adults and adolescents (16 years and older) for the treatment of exacerbations. Adults and adolescents (16 years and older) for the treatment of moderate to severe atopic dermatitis in adults who do not respond well to conventional therapies such as topical corticosteroids, or do not respond to treatment. Maintenance treatment: Treatment of moderate to severe atopic dermatitis to prevent exacerbations and prolong the interval between exacerbations in patients with a high frequency of exacerbations (4 or more times per year) and who have shown a positive response to treatment with tacrolimus ointment for a maximum of 6 weeks when used twice daily (lesions have disappeared, almost disappeared, or are mildly affected). Instructions for use: A thin layer of Olyx ointment should be applied to affected skin areas or areas that are frequently affected. Olyx ointment can be used on any part of the body, including the face, neck, and flexures, except for mucous membranes. Do not cover the areas where Olyx ointment is applied with a dressing, as this method of use has not been studied in patients. Precautions for storage: Store in a dark and dry place at a temperature not exceeding 25 C.
