What is it?
International Nonproprietary Name - hyaluronic acid sodium Clinical-pharmacological group: Ophthalmology → Corneal Moisturizers Description The preparation is a sterile, preservative-free, viscoelastic, corneal protective agent. It consists only of natural components. It has a natural tear-like effect, protects, moisturizes, and lubricates the eye surface. It provides long-lasting comfort to the eye and relieves discomfort caused by the following conditions: • Dry (sicca) keratoconjunctivitis (Sjogren's syndrome) • Corneal damage, erosions, surgical interventions • Contact lenses • Hormonal disorders (menopause) • Air conditioning, wind, cold, dry heat, dust, exhaust fumes, polluted air • Working at a computer, long car journeys, flights • Swimming in chlorinated water Composition Sodium hyaluronate 0.15%, hydrochloric acid, sodium hydrogen phosphate, sodium dihydrogen phosphate, and distilled water. Instructions for use • For the first use, remove the protective tape from the cap; • Remove the cap; • Squeeze the sides of the bottle and instill one drop into the eye or onto a contact lens; • After use, replace the cap on the bottle; • Can be used for up to 6 months after opening. Gentle massage of the eyelids after instillation will distribute the preparation more quickly over the eye surface. Storage conditions Store at a temperature of 2-25°C. Protect from frost. Warnings • Do not use if the protective tape or cap is damaged • Do not touch the eye with the bottle • Do not touch the bottle dropper with your hand or other surfaces due to possible contamination • Do not use with other eye preparations. If you are using other eye drops, maintain an interval of at least 5 minutes between preparations. • Do not use in an infected eye • Temporary blurred vision may occur after use; in such cases, do not drive or operate machinery until vision is restored. • Write the date of first opening on the bottle • The bottle must be discarded 6 months after first opening
