What is it?
International Nonproprietary Name (Active Substance): L-carnitine, coenzyme Q10, omega 3 Clinical-Pharmacological Group: Biologically active supplements for metabolic disorders Composition: L-carnitine - 500 mg Coenzyme Q10 - 20 mg Omega 3 - 600 mg Pharmacological Group: Cardioprotective, neuroprotective, cytoprotective agent. Indications: Ø Prevention and complex therapy of cardiovascular diseases. Ø Prevention of conditions caused by dyslipidemia (lipid metabolism disorder); Ø Chronic cerebrovascular pathology; Ø Cognitive impairment: memory, concentration disorders, amnesia, dementia, Alzheimer's disease; Ø Prevention of diabetes mellitus and its complications; Ø Thyrotoxicosis, hypothyroidism, obesity, and metabolic syndrome; Ø Arthrosis-arthritis of various origins; rheumatological diseases. Ø Autoimmune diseases: multiple sclerosis, systemic scleroderma, rheumatoid arthritis; Ø Eye diseases; Ø Bone diseases: fractures, osteomyelitis, osteoporosis, and others; Ø Peptic ulcer disease of the stomach and duodenum; Ø Skin diseases: psoriasis, eczema, neurodermatitis, and others, trophic ulcers; Ø Post-chemotherapy and radiotherapy periods. Contraindications: Age under 12 years, pregnancy and lactation. Side Effects: Side effects are almost not observed with Ornocard. Nausea, vomiting, epigastric pain may occur very rarely. Dosage and Administration: Ornocard is prescribed 1 capsule 1-2 times a day after meals. The course of treatment is individual with complex therapy, averaging 1-3 months. Interaction with Other Drugs: No incompatibility with other medications is noted.
