Ornaklin Vaginal Suppositories 100mg Composition: The active substance is clindamycin phosphate. Each ovule contains 100 mg of clindamycin equivalent, clindamycin phosphate. The excipient is hard fat. Indication: Ornaklin vaginal ovules are used vaginally. It contains clindamycin phosphate, an antibiotic, for the treatment of bacterial vaginal infections, such as bacterial vaginosis. Usage: Ornaklin vaginal ovules should always be used as prescribed by a doctor. If you are unsure how to use this medication, it is essential to consult a doctor or pharmacist. Protect the ovules from heat, as they will soften and deform if exposed to heat. The recommended dose is one ovule, which should be inserted deep into the vagina at night, before sleep, for three consecutive nights. After insertion into the vagina, the ovule will melt and disappear. Method of Use: Remove the ovule from its PVC foil packaging. Carefully insert the ovule as deep as possible into the vagina without causing discomfort. Always wash your hands after using the ovules. Pregnancy: The use of Ornaklin is not recommended during the first 3 months, as there is insufficient evidence of safety. Consult your doctor before using the preparation if you are pregnant or think you might be pregnant. If you are pregnant, the use of ovules should only occur after consulting with your doctor, who will decide if the given treatment is acceptable for you. Lactation: Inform your doctor if you plan to breastfeed. When using Ornaklin during breastfeeding, the active substance may pass into breast milk. Your doctor will decide if Ornaklin vaginal ovules are acceptable for you. However, a large amount of the active substance is not expected to pass from breast milk to the infant, but if the infant develops bloody diarrhea or any signs of illness, inform your doctor immediately. If this happens, breastfeeding should be discontinued. Storage Conditions: Store in a place invisible and inaccessible to children. Do not use Ornaklin after the expiry date indicated on the box and blister. The expiry date refers to the last day of that month. Store at a temperature not exceeding 25°C. Do not dispose of medicines in household waste or sewage. Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of medicines. By taking these measures, you will help protect the environment.
