What is it?
CIPROFLOXACIN 500 MG AND ORNIDAZOLE 500 MG TABLETS COMPOSITION: Each film-coated tablet contains: Ciprofloxacin Hydrochloride BP equivalent to Ciprofloxacin-500mg; Ornidazole 500mg; Excipients q.s; Colour: Titanium Dioxide BP; Excipients: PVP K 30, Corn Starch, Microcrystalline Cellulose Powder, Isopropyl Alcohol, Talc, Aerosil, Sodium Starch Glycolate, Magnesium Stearate, Base Granules for film coating, Hydroxypropylmethylcellulose, Titanium Dioxide, Methylene Dichloride. INDICATIONS: DAZOLAX is indicated for the treatment of infections caused by strains sensitive to the combination of Ciprofloxacin-Ornidazole: Sexually transmitted infections, including Chlamydiosis, Mycoplasmosis, Gonorrhea, Trichomoniasis, as well as mixed infections; Kidney and/or urinary tract infections; Lower respiratory tract infections; Chronic ENT infections; Skin and soft tissue infections; Bone and joint infections; Gastrointestinal tract infections; May be used for the treatment and prophylaxis of infections during major bowel surgery and gynecological interventions, including abortions. DOSAGE: To be taken orally, 1 hour before or 2 hours after meals. In acute infections, the course of treatment is 5-7 days, and in chronic recurrent infections - 1 tablet 2 times a day for 10-14 days; or as prescribed by a doctor. After the symptoms of the disease subside, the drug should be continued for 2 days. In patients with creatinine clearance of 20ml/min and less, elderly patients and patients with low body weight, half of the usual dose is prescribed. CONTRAINDICATIONS: Hypersensitivity to Ciprofloxacin, Ornidazole, imidazole derivatives, quinolones or any of the excipients; Concurrent use of fluoroquinolones and tizanidine; Central nervous system diseases; Blood formation disorders
