What is it?

International Nonproprietary Name - comb. drug Clinical-Pharmacological Group: Biologically Active Supplements Composition: 1 tablet contains: Ornithine 200 mg Silymarin 140 mg Artichoke 200 mg Pharmacotherapeutic Group: Hepatoprotective, detoxicating, hypоazotemic, hypоammonemic, choleretic, diuretic agent. Indications: The preparation is used in the complex treatment of liver, gallbladder, and kidney diseases of various etiologies. Including: • Chronic viral hepatitis. Subacute, persistent, and active chronic forms of viral hepatitis; • Rehabilitation period after acute viral hepatitis; • Liver damage associated with lipid metabolism disorders, including steatosis (fatty hepatosis) and fatty liver dystrophy; • Liver cirrhosis of various etiologies; • The preparation is also used in complex therapy in patients with lipid-cholesterol metabolism disorders; • Hepatic encephalopathy; • Acute and chronic cholecystitis, cholangitis, hypokinetic form of biliary dyskinesia; • Also used in complex therapy in patients with urolithiasis; • Gestosis of pregnant women. The preparation is used in combined or monotherapy for various types of toxic liver damage, including: • Drug-induced liver damage and during the intake of hepatotoxic drugs; • Poisoning with heavy metals and halogenated hydrocarbons; • Intoxication with organic solvents; • Liver damage associated with alcohol consumption, including in patients with chronic alcoholism and in cases of acute ethyl alcohol intoxication. Method of Administration and Dosage: Ornixil is taken orally, after meals, 1 tablet 1-3 times a day. Side Effects: Rarely skin reactions, in isolated cases nausea, vomiting are possible. Contraindications: Severe renal insufficiency (creatinine level in plasma above 3 mg/100 ml), hypersensitivity to the components of the preparation. Use During Pregnancy and Lactation: The preparation can be used during pregnancy; during lactation, breastfeeding should be discontinued when taking the preparation. Overdose: Intensification of side effects. Treatment: gastric lavage, intake of activated charcoal, symptomatic therapy. Dosage Form: Ornixil #30. 15 tablets in a blister, 2 blisters with an insert in a cardboard box. Storage Conditions: Store out of reach of children. Not above 25˚C. Shelf Life: Indicated on the packaging and blisters. Do not use after the expiration date. Dispensing Conditions: Available without a prescription.
