What is it?
Calcium is essential for maintaining the normal condition of bones and teeth, for bone growth and development in children. Calcium and Vitamin D are also essential for normal bone growth and development in children. Vitamin D contributes to the normal absorption and utilization of calcium and phosphorus, and to maintaining normal calcium levels in the blood. Furthermore, Vitamin D contributes to the normal maintenance of bones and teeth and is essential for normal bone formation in children. Magnesium contributes to normal energy-yielding metabolism and protein synthesis, and reduces fatigue and weakness. Magnesium also contributes to the normal maintenance of bones and electrolyte balance. Zinc contributes to the normal process of acid-base metabolism and the maintenance of bones.
