International Nonproprietary Name - phenazone, lidocaine Clinical-pharmacological group: Analgesics → Analgesics and local anesthetics Composition Active ingredients: phenazone, lidocaine hydrochloride; 16 g of solution contains 0.64 g of phenazone and 0.16 g of lidocaine hydrochloride; Excipients: sodium thiosulfate, ethanol, glycerol, purified water. Pharmacological properties Has a pronounced analgesic and anti-inflammatory effect. Reduction of pain and inflammation of the tympanic membrane begins 5 minutes after instillation. Pain is practically completely relieved within 15-30 minutes. Indications Local symptomatic treatment and pain relief: • In the acute period of otitis media; • Otitis as a complication of influenza; • Barotraumatic otitis. Contraindications Infectious or traumatic damage to the tympanic membrane. Hypersensitivity to the components of the preparation. Special instructions If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, inform your doctor before using the preparation. Overdose. Overdose is impossible if the instructions for use are followed. Side effects Very rarely – local reactions: irritation, redness, itching.
