International Nonproprietary Name - Papaverine+Bendazol General Characteristics: Main physicochemical properties: White or off-white tablets; Contents: 1 tablet contains: Bendazol 0.03 g, Papaverine hydrochloride 0.03 g; Excipients: Potato starch, Calcium stearate, Lactose. Dosage form. Tablets. Pharmacotherapeutic group. Peripheral vasodilators. Indications for use. PAPAZOL-DARNITSA is used independently or as part of combined pharmacotherapy for hypertensive disease, for peripheral vascular spasms, cerebral vascular spasms, moderately expressed spasms, pylorospasm, spastic colitis, cholecystitis, gastric and duodenal ulcer disease, urinary tract spasms, mono- and polyneuritis, residual effects of past poliomyelitis, facial nerve paralysis. Method of administration and dosage. For adults and children over 12 years of age, the preparation is administered orally 1 tablet 2-3 times a day. There is no objective data on the use of PAPAZOL-DARNITSA in children under 12 years of age. Side effects. Possible allergic reactions, vomiting, constipation, excessive sweating, heart rhythm disturbances. Contraindications. Hypersensitivity to the active ingredients of the preparation, arterial hypotension, AV conduction disturbances. Contraindicated in elderly patients. Interaction with other drugs. Increases antihypertensive activity when used with beta-blockers, other antihypertensive agents. Special precautions for use. Should be prescribed with caution and in small doses for patients with craniocerebral trauma, impaired liver and kidney function, hypothyroidism, adrenal insufficiency, prostatic hypertrophy. The safety and efficacy of the preparation during pregnancy and lactation have not been established. Storage conditions and shelf life.
