What is it?

Composition CO-PRENESSA 2 mg/0.625 mg tablets Each tablet contains 2 mg of perindopril erbumine, equivalent to 1.67 mg of perindopril, and 0.625 mg of indapamide. CO-PRENESSA 4 mg/1.25 mg tablets Each tablet contains 4 mg of perindopril erbumine, equivalent to 3.34 mg of perindopril, and 1.125 mg of indapamide. Excipients: Calcium chloride hexahydrate, lactose monohydrate, crospovidone, microcrystalline cellulose, sodium bicarbonate, colloidal silicon dioxide hydrated, magnesium stearate. Pharmacotherapeutic group: ACE inhibitors in combination with diuretics Indications CO-PRENESSA 2 mg/0.625 mg and 4 mg/1.25 mg Essential arterial hypertension. CO-PRENESSA 4 mg/1.25 mg CO-PRENESSA 4 mg/1.25 mg is indicated in patients when arterial blood pressure is not adequately controlled with perindopril monotherapy. Contraindications Related to perindopril Hypersensitivity to perindopril or any other ACE inhibitor. History of angioneurotic edema (Quincke's edema) related to ACE inhibitor therapy. Hereditary or idiopathic angioneurotic edema. Second and third trimester of pregnancy. Concomitant use of CO-PRENESSA and aliskiren-containing medicinal products is contraindicated in patients with diabetes mellitus or renal impairment (GFR < 60 ml/min/1.73 m2). Related to indapamide Hypersensitivity to indapamide or any other sulfonamide. Severe renal impairment (creatinine clearance less than 30 ml/min). Hepatic encephalopathy. Severe hepatic impairment. Hypokalemia. Concomitant use with antiarrhythmic drugs that prolong the QT interval due to increased risk of torsades de pointes ventricular tachycardia. Lactation period. Related to CO-PRENESSA Hypersensitivity to any component of the preparation. Due to insufficient clinical experience, CO-PRENESSA tablets should not be taken by: Patients on dialysis; Patients with untreated decompensated heart failure. Dosage and administration: Usual dose – 1 tablet once daily, preferably in the morning, before meals. Storage conditions Store at temperatures up to 30C, in a dry place. Keep out of reach of children. Shelf life 3 years. Do not use after the expiry date indicated on the packaging. Dispensing conditions Available by prescription only.
