Hygea is used in adults and children over 5 years of age. 2. Before using Hygea Do not use Hygea in the following cases - if you are allergic to the active substance or any other component; Take special care when using Hygea The medicine is for external use only and must be kept out of reach of children. Special care should be taken by people who are allergic to medicines and cosmetic products. If the medicine Hygea gets into your eyes, it is essential to rinse them immediately with plenty of water. Use of other medicines There is no data on interactions with other medicinal products and/or other forms. Pregnancy and lactation period Before using any medicine, seek advice from your doctor or pharmacist. There is no specific information on the use of Hygea during pregnancy, but based on limited information on the use of products containing permethrin, it appears that there is no risk of fetal effects. It is not known whether permethrin is excreted in breast milk. When using Hygea, permethrin may be transferred to breast milk in very small amounts, theoretically, in a very small percentage. The probability that such a low concentration of permethrin in breast milk poses any risk to the infant is very low. Driving and operating machinery There is no data on whether the use of Hygea affects the ability to drive vehicles and operate machinery. 3. How to use Hygea Always take Hygea as instructed in the package leaflet. Shake the bottle vigorously and apply 15-20 ml of the medicinal shampoo Hygea to wet hair or hairy parts of the body, rubbing into the roots of the hair until a voluminous foam is formed. Pay special attention to the area behind the ears and neck. Leave the shampoo on for 10-15 minutes, then rinse with plenty of water. To remove dead lice and nits, comb the hair with the comb that comes with the shampoo in the package. Re-treatment may be carried out in 7-10 days, but no more than twice a month. Hygea is used in adults and children over 5 years of age. If you have used more Hygea than recommended No cases of overdose or its symptoms have been identified. The possibility of receiving a dose of permethrin that would cause toxic reactions, even if used by mistake or in excess, is very small. The most likely side effect and sign of reaction is hypersensitivity (allergy). 4. Possible side effects Like all medicines, Hygea may cause side effects, although not everyone gets them. Hygea is well tolerated in most cases. In rare cases, it may cause redness and irritation of the skin, such as burning and warmth, and very rarely, a rash.
