International Nonproprietary Name - dexamethasone, Polymyxin B sulfate, neomycin, phenylephrine Clinical-pharmacological group: Otorhinolaryngology → Antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory agents for topical use Composition Dosage form: Nasal spray Composition and quantitative content per 100 ml: Active substances: Neomycin sulfate - 1g, equivalent to 650,000 IU Polymyxin B sulfate - 1,000,000 IU Dexamethasone sodium metasulfobenzoate - 0.025g Phenylephrine hydrochloride - 0.250g Other components: Methylparahydroxybenzoate, lithium chloride, citric acid, lithium hydroxide, macrogol 4000, polysorbate 80, purified water to obtain 100 ml of solution. Description: Clear, colorless liquid Indications Inflammatory and infectious diseases of the nasal cavity, larynx, paranasal sinuses - Acute and chronic rhinitis; - Acute and chronic rhinopharyngitis; - Sinusitis. Postoperative period, during endonasal interventions Dosage and administration Adults: One spray in each nostril 3-5 times a day; Children aged 2.5 to 15 years: One spray in each nostril 3 times a day Duration of treatment - 5-10 days Side effects Allergic reactions, rarely skin rash Contraindications - In case of suspected angle-closure glaucoma; - Concomitant use of monoamine oxidase inhibitors; - Kidney diseases accompanied by albuminuria; - Pregnancy and lactation period; - Age of children (under 2.5 years); - Hypersensitivity to the components of the preparation. Pregnancy and lactation Contraindicated during pregnancy and lactation Special instructions The preparation should be used with particular caution in arterial hypertension, hyperthyroidism, ischemic heart disease. Attention athletes: the preparation contains components that may give a false positive result in doping control.
