What is it?
Composition: Each ml contains: Prednisolone acetate...............10.0 mg. Excipients: Hypromellose, anhydrous dibasic sodium phosphate, disodium edetate, polysorbate 80, glycerin, benzalkonium chloride, purified water...q.s. sufficient quantity. Indications: Treatment of inflammation of the bulbar conjunctiva, cornea, and anterior segment of the eyeball that responds to steroid treatment. Pregnancy: There are no data on the use of prednisolone in pregnant women. Administration of corticosteroids in pregnant animals has been associated with fetal developmental abnormalities. Therefore, this preparation should be used with caution during pregnancy and only if the potential benefit outweighs the potential risk to the fetus. Breastfeeding: It is unknown whether the topical use of Predso 1% eye drops, suspension will cause sufficient systemic absorption to be excreted in breast milk. Therefore, its use in breastfeeding women is not recommended. Dosage: Instill one or two drops into the affected eye(s) twice or four times daily. The frequency of dosage may be increased at the discretion of the physician. Do not store above 30 C. Store upright. Do not freeze. Use within a maximum of 30 days after opening
