International Nonproprietary Name - L-Cloperastine Pharmacotherapeutic group: Cough suppressant Composition: 100ml of suspension contains: Active substance: L-Cloperastine fendizoate 708 mg (equivalent to 400 mg Cloperastine hydrochloride) Excipients: Xanthan gum, polyoxyethylene stearate, xylitol, methyl p-hydroxybenzoate, propyl p-hydroxybenzoate, banana flavoring, purified water. Indications: Cough suppressant. Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to any of the product's components. Due to insufficient studies in the 0-2 year age group, it is recommended not to use this preparation in young children. It is also not recommended for use during pregnancy. Warnings: Toxicity studies in pregnant animals did not reveal teratogenicity or embryotoxic effects. It is advisable not to take the preparation during the first and last months of pregnancy, except in cases of necessity. During this time, you should be under medical supervision. At therapeutic doses, the medication does not have a sedative effect and does not impair the ability to drive. Interactions: The medication may interact with both central nervous system depressants and stimulants. The action of antihistamine/antiserotonin substances may be enhanced, and the effect of muscle relaxants, such as papaverine, may be reduced. Dosage and administration: Adults: 5 ml three times a day. Children: 2 to 4 years: 2 ml twice a day; 4 to 7 years: 3 ml twice a day; 7 to 15 years: 5 ml twice a day. Shake well before use. A graduated 2-3-5 ml measuring cup is included in the package. Opening the bottle - press the cap down and turn it to the left. Closing the bottle - turn the cap to the right. Overdose: In case of overdose, perform gastric lavage (feeding by tube, activated charcoal, etc.) and observe for signs of increased excitability.
