PROSTNIDRECOMMENDED USE: Recommended for use as a dietary supplement to improve and maintain the physiological condition of the prostate gland. Saw Palmetto Extract: Has antiandrogenic activity, such as inhibition of type I and II 5α-reductase and inhibition of dihydrotestosterone binding to cytosolic androgen receptors, antiproliferative and anti-inflammatory effects. African Plum Tree Bark Extract: African plum tree bark inhibits 5α-reductase and dihydrotestosterone binding to androgen receptors, although the inhibition is minimal and has no clinical significance. Nettle Extract: Nettle extract inhibits the action of sex hormone-binding globulin, aromatase, epidermal growth factor, and prostate steroid membrane receptors involved in anti-prostate effects, but involvement of α-reductase or androgen receptors is unlikely. Zinc Sulfate: The glandular epithelial cells of the human prostate gland have a unique ability and function to accumulate high concentrations of zinc in any soft tissue of the body. Zinc accumulation in the prostate gland is regulated by prolactin and testosterone; however, information regarding the mechanism of zinc accumulation and its normalization in prostate epithelial cells is limited. After oral administration, PROSTNID capsules are mainly absorbed in the gastrointestinal tract, in the small intestine, and bind to plasma proteins, are distributed to the body's tissues, and are mainly excreted in urine and feces. Possible reactions: dizziness, headache, nausea, vomiting, constipation. Avoid using Saw Palmetto with other herbal/medicinal supplements that may affect blood clotting. Not recommended in case of hypersensitivity to Saw Palmetto, Zinc, African Plum Tree Bark, Nettle, as well as in case of any coagulation-related disorders. DOSAGE RECOMMENDATION: Recommended dose is one capsule per day, with food or immediately after a main meal, followed by a full glass of water.
