What is it?
International Nonproprietary Name - Hippophae rhamnoides Dosage Form: Suppository 0.5 g Composition: 0.5 g suppository with sea buckthorn oil contains sea buckthorn oil and suppository base. Sea buckthorn oil - a mixture of carotenes and carotenoids, tocopherols, chlorophyll, glycerides of oleic, linoleic, palmitic, and stearic acids. Description: Orange or dark orange colored suppositories. Indications: 0.5 g suppository with sea buckthorn oil is used in proctological practice to stimulate reparative processes of the colonic mucosa. The preparation is also used for hemorrhoids, for the treatment of rectal ulcers and fissures, for proctitis, in case of surgical intervention on the colon, as well as for the treatment of the lower part of the colonic mucosa damaged during radiation therapy. Dosage and Administration: The preparation is administered after cleansing the rectum 1-2 times a day, in the morning and evening, for 10-15 days. Contraindications: Individual intolerance to the preparation. Side Effects: Sensation of burning in the rectum. Dosage Form: Suppositories, in contour cell packaging. Shelf Life: 1 year and 6 months. Storage Conditions: Store in a dry, light-protected place at a temperature of +5°C, list "B".
