What is it?
Xalergan 5 mg/ml - 1 ml solution (20 drops) contains the active substance 5 mg levocetirizine dihydrochloride. Other ingredients (excipients): glycerol 100%, propylene glycol, sodium saccharin, sodium acetate trihydrate, glacial acetic acid, methyl parahydroxybenzoate, propyl parahydroxybenzoate, purified water. Use: Xalergan is an anti-allergy medication containing levocetirizine dihydrochloride as the active substance. The preparation is used to treat adults and children aged 2 years and older for the following conditions: - Allergic rhinitis (hay fever), including persistent allergic rhinitis; - Urticaria (hives). Always use this medicine exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. If you are unsure about anything, ask your doctor or pharmacist. Recommended dosage: Adults and children aged 6 years and older – 20 drops once daily. Children aged 2 to 6 years – 5 drops twice daily. Method of administration: Xalergan is for oral use. Before taking, you can transfer the drops onto a spoon or dissolve them in a small amount of water. The solution should be taken immediately. The drops should be dissolved in an amount of water that the patient can drink. Keep out of reach of children. Not above 25˚C.
