What is it?

International Name - diclofenac+serratiopeptidase Composition Serratiopeptidase 10 mg Diclofenac potassium 50 mg Indications - Treatment of acute and chronic osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis - Prevention of chronic arthritis and rheumatoid arthritis - Treatment of spondylosis - As an analgesic for primary dysmenorrhea when rapid pain relief is needed Dosage and Administration As prescribed by the physician Side Effects Cases have been reported where diclofenac caused symptoms similar to syndrome of inappropriate secretion of antidiuretic hormone in elderly women Dry mouth may be observed with prolonged use Possible vomiting, nausea, anorexia, pain and discomfort in the epigastric region, meteorism, constipation, diarrhea; in isolated cases – erosive-ulcerative lesions, bleeding and perforations of the gastrointestinal tract Rarely – impaired kidney function; edema may occur in predisposed patients Possible skin rash, itching Contraindications Radofen is contraindicated in patients who are hypersensitive to diclofenac, serratiopeptidase Diclofenac is contraindicated in patients with asthma, urticaria and other allergic-type reactions that occur after the use of aspirin and other NSAIDs. The use of diclofenac in such patients can cause anaphylactic shock, severe reactions, very rarely a fatal outcome Blood coagulation disorders Pregnancy and Lactation Pregnancy The use of diclofenac and other NSAIDs in the last trimester of pregnancy is not recommended, as it may cause premature closure of the arterial duct Lactation Use during lactation is possible only when the potential benefit to the mother outweighs the potential risk to the newborn. When taking a 50 mg dose every 8 hours, active particles reach breast milk, but in low concentrations, which should not cause side effects
