International Nonproprietary Name - sodium succinate+NACl+KCl+MgCl(11) Instructions for Medical Use Reamberin® Dosage Form: Solution for infusion Composition: N-1(1-deoxy-D-glucitol-1-yl)-N-methylammonium sodium succinate – 15g, Sodium chloride – 6g, Potassium chloride – 0.30g, Magnesium chloride – 0.12g, Water for injections – up to 1l Description: Colorless transparent liquid Pharmacotherapeutic Group: Detoxifying agent ATC Code – B05BB Pharmacological Properties: Reamberin® has antihypoxic and antioxidant properties. By reducing free radical production and restoring cellular energy potential, it has a positive effect on cellular aerobic processes. The preparation activates enzymatic processes of the Krebs cycle and promotes the utilization of fatty acids and glucose by cells, normalizing acid-base balance and blood gas composition. It has a moderate diuretic effect. Indications for Use: Reamberin® is used in children and adults as an antihypoxic and detoxifying agent for intoxications of various etiologies. Contraindications: Individual intolerance, post-traumatic condition of the brain with cerebral edema, severe renal impairment, pregnancy, lactation. Methods of Administration and Dosage: Reamberin® is administered intravenously, dropwise, at a rate not exceeding 90 drops/minute. In children from 1 year of age, the daily dose is 10mg/kg. In adults, 400-800mg/day. The rate of administration and dosage are determined based on the patient's condition. The course of treatment with the preparation may last up to 11 days, depending on the severity of the disease. Side Effects: During rapid administration of the preparation, a short-term reaction may occur, manifested by a feeling of heat and redness of the upper part of the body. Special Instructions: Due to the activation of aerobic processes in the body by the preparation, alkalization of blood and urine may occur. Dosage Form: Solution for infusion 1.5% in 200ml and 400ml glass bottles. Each bottle with instructions for use is packed in a cardboard box. Storage Conditions: Store in a protected place from light at a temperature of 0°C to 25°C. Freezing of the preparation is not allowed. The preparation is not to be used if the solution changes color or if precipitate appears. Keep out of reach of children.
