What is it?
Rehydron Opti Composition: Active substance: 1 sachet contains 0.75 g potassium chloride, 1.3 g sodium chloride, 1.45 g sodium citrate, 6.75 g anhydrous glucose; Excipients: potassium acesulfame (E950), lemon flavoring. Indications: Restoration of water-salt balance, correction of acidosis in acute diarrhea (including cholera), mild or moderate dehydration developed during diarrhea, heat injuries accompanied by water-salt balance disorders. For prophylactic purposes: heat and physical exertion leading to intense sweating. Dosage and administration: Preparation of solution: 1 sachet of powder is dissolved in 0.5 L of boiled and cooled to room temperature water. The solution is taken orally or administered via nasogastric tube under medical supervision. Treatment of mild and moderate dehydration (replacement therapy): The dose of the preparation depends on the patient's body weight and the degree of dehydration and is 50-100 mL of solution per kg of body weight. Rehydron Opti is taken for 4 hours to eliminate fluid deficit in the body. Storage conditions: Store at a temperature not exceeding 25°C. Keep out of reach of children. The prepared solution should be stored in the refrigerator at 2-8°C for 24 hours.
