If necessary, tablets should be taken with a small amount of liquid (see "Pharmacokinetics"). In patients with risk factors for bone loss or osteoporosis, dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry (DXA) is recommended before starting treatment with Ryeco® (see "Precautions"). At the beginning of treatment, the first tablet should be taken within 5 days of the onset of menstrual bleeding. If treatment is initiated on another day of the menstrual cycle, irregular and/or heavy bleeding may occur initially. Pregnancy must be excluded before starting treatment with Ryeco®. Ryeco® can be taken continuously. The issue of discontinuing the drug should be considered at the onset of menopause, as uterine fibroids are known to regress after menopause. After 1 year of treatment, a DXA scan is recommended (see "Precautions"). Method of administration For oral use. Ryeco® can be taken regardless of food intake; if necessary, tablets should be taken with a small amount of liquid. Storage conditions The medicinal product does not require special storage conditions. Keep out of reach of children. Shelf life 3 years. Do not use after the expiry date indicated on the packaging.
