Dosage and Administration REPARON ointment is intended for external use only. Unless otherwise directed by your doctor, apply the ointment to the perianal area after defecation and washing, or insert a small amount of ointment (approximately the size of a pea) into the rectum using the applicator. After use, be sure to replace the protective cap. - Avoid contact of the ointment with the eye area and oral mucous membranes. Wash your hands after each use. If contact occurs in the above-mentioned areas, rinse the ointment with water. - The ointment may stain underwear, so we recommend using pads.
