What is it?
International Name - lactobacillus reuteri Composition: Active Ingredient: 5 drops contain 108 live Lactobacillus reuteri bacteria. Excipients: Sunflower oil, silicon dioxide. Pharmacological Action: Lactobacillus reuteri relieves abdominal pain and spasms, improves digestion and gastrointestinal motility (constipation, diarrhea, regurgitation), regulates gas formation. Lactic acid enzymes create favorable conditions for the formation of normal gastrointestinal microflora and maintenance of physiological balance. Lactobacillus reuteri is resistant to the pH of the gastrointestinal tract and bile salts. Lactobacillus reuteri is a Gram-positive, anaerobic, non-spore-forming lactic acid bacterium species that produces 3 substances upon contact with pathogenic and conditionally pathogenic environments of the gastrointestinal tract: Reuterin - an antimicrobial component; inhibits the growth of Gram+ and Gram- bacteria (e.g., Escherichia, Clostridia, Proteus, Klebsiella, Shigella, Salmonella, Staphylococcus, etc.); Reutercycline - characterized by pronounced bactericidal action; Reutericin - a bacteriocin, a specific protein that inhibits the viability of pathogenic bacterial strains. Indications: Infant colic Restoration of intestinal microflora Allergic conditions (atopic dermatitis) Dosage and Administration: Children: From the first days of life, 5 drops once a day (independently of meals). Drops can be given directly or diluted in liquid (water/juice/milk) at a maximum temperature of +37°C. Do not take with hot liquids! Adults: 5 drops 1-2 times a day. It is recommended to shake the bottle before taking the drops! Drops can be taken together with antibiotics. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose! Side Effects: Not established. Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to the components of the preparation. Storage Conditions: Store drops in a dry, cool, and light-protected place.
