International Nonproprietary Name - acetylcysteine Clinical-pharmacological group: Otorhinolaryngology → Agents for rhinitis and sinusitis Composition 10 ml solution contains 0.1 g N-acetylcysteine, 0.05 g tuaminoheptal sulfate. Pharmacological properties The mucolytic and reparative action of acetylcysteine is complemented by the vasoconstrictive action of tuaminoheptal sulfate, which reduces swelling of the nasal cavity and paranasal sinuses. Under the influence of the preparation, the symptoms of the inflammatory process rapidly decrease. Pharmacokinetics When the preparation is administered locally, its active components do not have a systemic effect. Indications • Acute and subacute rhinitis (with mucous-purulent discharge) • Chronic rhinitis • Vasomotor rhinitis • Sinusitis. Dosage and administration The preparation is sprayed into the nasal cavity using a special dispenser. Children 1 dose (1 squeeze of the pipette) 3-4 times a day, in each nostril. Adults 2 doses (2 squeezes of the pipette) 3-4 times a day, in each nostril. The course of treatment is no more than 7 days. Side effects In case of frequent and excessive use of the preparation, sympathomimetic type reactions may occur. Side effects disappear immediately after discontinuation of treatment. Contraindications The preparation is not used with antidepressants. Special instructions Precautions: Administer with caution in children under 3 years of age. Storage conditions and shelf life Store in a place inaccessible to children, at a temperature not exceeding 25°C. Shelf life: 2.5 years. The preparation is valid for 20 days after opening.

Фармакологические свойства К муколитическому и репаративному действию ацетилцистеина добавляется вазоконстрикторное действие туаминогептала сульфата, которое уменьшает отек слизистой оболочки носа и придаточных пазух, под действием препарата быстро уменьшаются симптомы воспалительного процесса. Фармакокинетика При местном применении препарата его активные компоненты не оказывают системного действия. Показания • Острый и подострый ринит (с слизисто-гнойным отделяемым) • Хронический ринит • Вазомоторный ринит • Синусит. Способ применения и дозы Препарат распыляется в носовую полость с помощью специального дозатора. Дети 1 доза (1 нажатие пипетки) 3-4 раза в день, в каждую ноздрю. Взрослые 2 дозы (2 нажатия пипетки) 3-4 раза в день, в каждую ноздрю. Курс лечения составляет не более 7 дней. Побочные эффекты При частом и чрезмерном применении препарата в высоких дозах возможны реакции симпатомиметического типа. Побочные эффекты проходят сразу после отмены лечения. Противопоказания Препарат не применяется вместе с антидепрессантами. Особые указания Меры предосторожности: Детям до 3 лет назначается с осторожностью.
