What is it?
Name - Rotavit Calcium Forte - Rotavit Calcium Forte 20 Effervescent Tablets Indications for use - Deficiency or high risk of developing deficiency of Vitamin D3 and Calcium - Prevention and complex treatment of osteoporosis (menopausal, senile, steroid-induced) in patients with Vitamin D3 and Calcium deficiency - Fractures, slowing down of post-traumatic bone tissue regeneration processes Method of administration and dosage The preparation Rotavit Calcium Forte is taken orally, independently of food intake. One tablet should be dissolved in a glass of drinking water at room temperature (200 ml) and consumed immediately after preparation. For osteoporosis prevention – 1 tablet once daily for adults; for complex treatment of osteoporosis – 1 tablet 1-2 times daily for adults. As a prophylactic agent – 1 tablet daily for adults and children over 12 years of age. For children aged 5 to 12 years, a reduced dose is administered (half of the prepared solution). The average duration of the treatment course to replenish Calcium and Vitamin D3 deficiency is not less than 4-6 weeks. The number of repeated courses during the year is determined individually. When used for the prevention and complex therapy of osteoporosis, the duration of treatment is determined individually by the doctor. Contraindications - Hypersensitivity to the components of the preparation - Hypercalcemia, hypercalciuria - Urolithiasis (nephrolithiasis) - Hypervitaminosis D3 - Severe renal insufficiency - Active form of tuberculosis - Sarcoidosis The preparation contains aspartame, which is transformed into phenylalanine in the body, therefore the preparation is not used in phenylketonuria. With caution: pregnancy, lactation, renal insufficiency. Storage conditions Store in a place protected from moisture and light, at a temperature not exceeding 25°C. Keep out of reach of children!
