What is it?
Name - Sorvitimbi 40/10mg 30 Tablets Use: Sorvitimbi lowers cholesterol in two ways: it reduces cholesterol absorption in the digestive tract and reduces cholesterol production in the body. Sorvitimbi is used in patients who cannot control their cholesterol levels with cholesterol-lowering diet alone. When taking this medication, the patient should continue to follow a cholesterol-lowering diet. Do not take Sorvitimbi: If you are allergic to rosuvastatin/ezetimibe or any of the other ingredients of this medicine (listed in paragraph 6). If you are pregnant or breastfeeding. If you become pregnant while taking Sorvitimbi, stop taking it immediately and tell your doctor. Children and adolescents Sorvitimbi is not recommended for use in children and adolescents under 18 years of age. How to take Sorvitimbi Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. If you are not sure, ask your doctor or pharmacist. Before starting Sorvitimbi, you should be on a diet to lower your cholesterol and be treated with rosuvastatin and ezetimibe at the same dose level. This medicine is not suitable for starting treatment. You should follow a cholesterol-lowering diet while taking Sorvitimbi. The recommended dose is one tablet of Sorvitimbi orally once a day. You can take it at any time of the day, with or without food. Swallow each tablet whole with water. Take the medicine every day at the same time. Keep this medicine out of the reach of children.
