What is it?

Instructions for use of the medicinal product Sage Leaf FOLIUM SALVIAE OFFICINALIS Dosage form: Sage leaves. Composition: Sage leaves contain tannins, essential oils, organic acids, vitamins. Pharmacological group: Anti-inflammatory agent of plant origin. Pharmacological action: Sage leaf extract has antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, and astringent effects. See blog: Sage — for the treatment of inflammatory diseases of the oral cavity and throat Indications: Used as an adjunct in the treatment of inflammatory diseases of the oral cavity, nasopharynx, and throat (stomatitis, gingivitis, angina, pharyngitis). Preparation method: Place approximately 10g (3 tablespoons) of raw material in an enameled dish, pour 200ml (1 teacup) of boiling water, cover with a lid, and heat in a boiling water bath for 15 minutes. Then remove from heat, cool, and filter. Squeeze the remaining mass. Add boiled water to the obtained infusion until the initial volume (200 ml) is reached. Method of administration: Use locally as a gargle, 1/2-1 cup 3-5 times a day, warm. Shake the infusion before use. Contraindications: Increased sensitivity to the herbal remedy, children under 12 years of age. Use during pregnancy and lactation: Use with caution during pregnancy and lactation. Effect on driving or operating machinery: No effect. Side effects: Allergic reactions may develop. Storage conditions: Store at room temperature, in a dry place protected from light. Shelf life: 2 years. The raw material is not allowed to be used after the expiry date or in case of defects found during visual inspection.
