What is it?
Seledox Platinum Composition Active ingredient: Natural origin selenium 200mcg Other ingredients: Inulin (fiber), selenium-enriched yeast, magnesium salts of fatty acids. Pharmacological action Seledox contains natural origin selenium, an ultramicroelement with many biological functions. It is essential for adequate immune system function, thyroid hormone production, and the body's antioxidant defense, and for the prevention of atherosclerosis. Selenium deficiency causes skeletal muscle dysfunction and cardiomyopathy, mood changes, impaired immune function, and macrocytosis. Selenium supplementation reduces inflammatory activity in autoimmune thyroiditis and the risk of postpartum thyroiditis in individuals with antibodies to thyroid peroxidase. Glutathione peroxidase (selenoprotein) provides the body's antioxidant defense. It reduces hydrogen peroxide and other molecules with oxidative potential. It protects lipid membranes. It reduces the oxidative modification of low-density lipoproteins. It lowers platelet aggregation.
