Pharmacotherapeutic group: Microelement, antioxidant, immunomodulator. What does Selcincor contain? Selcincor contains the essential microelement selenium, which is a cofactor of the antioxidant enzyme selenodependent glutathione peroxidase, which neutralizes the most aggressive free radicals and protects cells from their harmful effects. It increases the body's resistance to viruses and other pathogenic agents. Selenium is part of the enzyme iodothyronine 5-deiodinase, which: Controls the formation of triiodothyronine and protects the thyroid gland from free radical damage. Reduces the level of the stress hormone cortisol in the blood and improves mood. Inhibits viral replication in hepatitis, prevents the development of necrotic processes in the liver, and protects it from the harmful effects of free radicals and heavy metals. Zinc is an immunomodulator - it acts on all links of human immunity simultaneously. It stimulates the secretion of interferons, which protect the body from infection by viruses, bacteria, and other microorganisms. It has a pronounced anti-inflammatory effect.
