International Nonproprietary Name (Active Substance): comb. drug Clinical-Pharmacological Group: Central Nervous System → Anxiolytics and Hypnotics → Phytopreparations SILENTEX Composition: - Valerian dry extract (Valeriana) 125 mg - Hawthorn dry extract (Crataegus) 125 mg - Lemon balm dry extract (Melissa) 100 mg - St. John's Wort dry extract (Hypericum) 100 mg SILENTEX Pharmacological Group: SILENTEX is a combined herbal preparation characterized by sedative, antihypertensive, antiarrhythmic, vegetostimulating, antispasmodic, and analgesic effects. Indications: - Restlessness, anxiety - Mild forms of neurasthenia, post-stress conditions, fear with accompanying tension, tachycardia, and shortness of breath - Increased excitability, irritability - Emotional tension or depression - Decreased concentration - Sleep disturbances - Headaches and migraines caused by nervous tension (as part of combination therapy) - Climacteric syndrome - "Manager's syndrome" (state of constant mental tension) - Angioneurosis (cardiovascular system) and vegetoneurosis (vegetovascular dystonia) - Dermatoses accompanied by itching (atopic and seborrheic eczema, urticaria, neurodermatitis) - Functional gastrointestinal diseases (dyspeptic syndrome, irritable bowel syndrome) Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to the components of the preparation. Side Effects: Contraindication for taking the preparation is hypersensitivity to the preparation. Dosage and Administration: SILENTEX is taken by adults and children from 8 years of age: 1 tablet 2-3 times a day, 15 minutes after meals. During pregnancy (II-III trimester) and lactation, the preparation is taken as indicated. Precautions: SILENTEX enhances the effects of tranquilizers, cardiac glycosides, alcohol, and CNS depressants. Dosage Form: Tablet № 30. Storage Conditions: Store in a dry, light-protected place, inaccessible to children. At a temperature not exceeding 25°C.
