International Nonproprietary Name - zinc pyrithionate Clinical-pharmacological group: Dermatology → Agents for scalp skin diseases → Preparations for the treatment of psoriasis and seborrhea of the scalp Composition 1 ml of the preparation contains: Zinc pyrithionate 2 mg Excipients Indications • Skin itching • Inflammatory skin reactions • Skin flaking • Dandruff • Psoriasis • Seborrhea Dosage and administration The preparation is sprayed onto the affected skin area from a distance of 15 cm for 3 seconds, covering a skin surface equivalent to the palm of the hand (which is equivalent to 1 ml of the preparation). The affected area is treated 2-3 times a day until a clinical effect is achieved. It is advisable to continue using the preparation for 1 week after the symptoms disappear. Shake the bottle before use. The bottle should be held in a vertical position during spraying. A special nozzle is included for treating the scalp. Side effects The preparation is usually well tolerated. Allergic reactions are rarely observed. Special instructions If the preparation gets into the eyes - rinse with a large amount of cold water. If the preparation gets into the gastrointestinal tract - it is necessary to wash the stomach with a large amount of saline laxatives.
