Contraindications Hypersensitivity to xylometazoline or any other component of the preparation; arterial hypertension, tachycardia, pronounced atherosclerosis; increased intraocular pressure, especially angle-closure glaucoma; atrophic rhinitis, hyperthyroidism, surgical intervention on the meninges (in history), inflammatory diseases of the skin or mucous membrane of the nasal vestibule, conditions after transsphenoidal hypophysectomy, pregnancy, children under 6 years of age (90 μg/dose nasal metered spray), children under 2 years of age (45 μg/dose nasal metered spray). Do not use with monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAO) (including up to 14 days after their withdrawal), tricyclic and tetracyclic antidepressants, other vasoconstrictive topical agents (decongestants). Method of administration and dosage Intranasally. Nasal metered spray 45 μg/dose In children aged 2 to 6 years, 1 spray in each nostril 1-3 times a day. In adults and children over 6 years of age, 1-2 sprays in each nostril 2-3 times a day. It should not be used more than 3 times a day. Nasal metered spray 90 μg/dose In adults and children over 6 years of age, 1 spray in each nostril 2-3 times a day. It should not be used more than 3 times a day. In children, the use of the preparation should be under adult supervision. The last spray is recommended to be administered just before bedtime. Before use, the nostrils should be cleared.
