What is it?
NEBIANAX 3% NASAL SPRAY is a combination of a 3% hypertonic solution and hyaluronic acid. It has a decongestant and mucolytic effect on the nasal mucosa. It promotes the drainage of secretions, thereby effectively restoring the patency of the respiratory tract and maintaining the cleanliness of the airways. It is particularly effective for colds, rhinitis (allergic), rhinosinusitis, and sinusitis. Its use in the postoperative period aids the regeneration process. The solution is nebulized using a special device (BOV can, Bag on Valve), with a pediatric applicator. Information: Why is a hypertonic solution used? It has a higher concentration of salts than our cells. Therefore, upon contact with mucous membranes, it drains excess fluid, relieves swelling, and soothes irritated mucous membranes. Why hyaluronic acid? It adheres to the surface of the mucosa, forms a protective film, and physiologically retains water. The presence of high molecular weight hyaluronic acid in the product makes it particularly suitable for use in children. Hyaluronic acid is a substance naturally produced by our body, whose function is to maintain tissue hydration, thereby promoting the moisturization of the nasal passages. Warnings: The container is under pressure. The product must be protected from the sun and not exposed to temperatures above 50°C. Do not refrigerate. Do not puncture or burn after use. Use the product exclusively for its intended purpose. For children under one year of age, use with other medical therapy only on the advice of a doctor. In case of adverse reactions, discontinue use of the product and consult a doctor. Do not use after the expiry date. The indicated expiry date refers to the product in its intact and correctly stored state. Keep out of reach of children. Keep internal instructions with the product. Dosage: Before use, remove the protective cap from the can and attach the specially designed applicator (which is included). It is best to spray with the head tilted to the side (never tilted backward). Place the applicator in the nostril and press the dispenser to spray. Do the same for the other nostril, tilting the head to the opposite side. For use in children under one year of age, prior consultation with the treating physician is required. Infants: 1 spray in the nostril 1-2 times a day; considering the size and strength of the dispenser in infants, it is best to use from 6 months of age.
