What is it?
Solgar - Folate Tablet 800mcg Ingredients: Folate (L-Methylfolate-Metafolin) - 800mcg Additional Ingredients: Mannitol, Microcrystalline Cellulose, Vegetable Cellulose, Silica Gel, Vegetable Stearic Acid, Vegetable Magnesium Stearate. Does not contain: Gluten, Starch, Dairy Products, Soy, Sugar, Yeast, Sweeteners, Soda, Artificial Flavors, Preservatives, and Colors. Indications: Folic acid deficiency anemia: Macrocytic hyperchromic anemia; Anemia caused by drugs or ionizing radiation; Leukopenia; Anemias caused by megaloblastic, sideroblastic, and small intestine diseases; Sprue; Malabsorption syndrome. Treatment and prevention of anemia during pregnancy and lactation; Prevention of neural tube defects and anencephaly in the first trimester of pregnancy; Hyperhomocysteinemia; Antiphospholipid syndrome; Recurrent reproductive loss (miscarriage) Preeclampsia Infertility Long-term treatment with folic acid antagonists (methotrexate, combination sulfamethoxazole/trimethoprim), anticonvulsants (phenytoin, primidone, phenobarbital); Cervical dysplasia Osteoporosis Atherosclerosis Breast and colon cancer Histamine deficiency Periodontal disease and halitosis Folate is also used in the complex treatment of the following diseases: Thalassemia, Ulcerative Colitis, Vitiligo, Migraine, Depression, Schizophrenia, Alzheimer's Disease, Bipolar Disorder, Crohn's Disease, Diarrhea, Down Syndrome, Epilepsy, Lung Cancer, Psoriasis. Dosage: Take 1 tablet daily, preferably with food. Storage: Store at room temperature, out of reach of children.
