Ginger extract 4:1 (Zingiber officinale) pharmacological effect is due to the blockade of H1 histamine, M cholinergic receptors, and 5HT-3 serotonergic and dopaminergic D2 receptors in the gastrointestinal tract. Ginger extract exhibits anticholinergic, antineurokinetic, anti-inflammatory, and analgesic effects. Anise powder - characterized by antispasmodic, anti-flatulence, detoxifying, and anti-inflammatory effects.
