What is it?
SOLUFLUX-NEW Composition: 1 ml of eye drops, solution contains: Active substance: 5 mg Levofloxacin (Levofloxacin hemihydrate). Excipients: Sodium chloride, Benzalkonium chloride, Hydrochloric acid solution 1M or Sodium hydroxide solution 1M (for PH adjustment), Sterile water. Therapeutic indications: SOLUFLUX-NEW 5mg/ml eye drops, solution is intended for the local treatment of superficial bacterial infections of the eye in patients aged 1 year and older, caused by microorganisms susceptible to levofloxacin. Recommendations should be made according to official guidelines for the use of antibacterial agents. SOLUFLUX-NEW 5mg/ml eye drops, solution is used in adults, children aged 1-12 years, and adolescents aged 12-18 years. Dosage and administration: Dosage Adults: For all patient categories, instill 1-2 drops of the solution into the affected eye(s) every 2 hours for the first two days, but no more than 8 times a day, then 4 times a day for 3-5 days. The duration of treatment depends on the severity of the disease and the clinical and bacteriological course of the infection. The duration of treatment is 5 days. Safety and efficacy for the treatment of corneal ulcers and ophthalmia in newborns have not been established. Method of administration: For ophthalmic use. If several topical ophthalmic preparations are used simultaneously, an interval of 15 minutes must be observed between instillations. To avoid contamination of the solution and the dropper tip, do not touch the eyelids and surrounding areas or any other surface. Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to the active substance levofloxacin, other quinolones, or excipients. Storage conditions: Store at a temperature not exceeding 25 C in the original packaging.
