What is it?

International Nonproprietary Name - METAMIZOLE SODIUM; PITOFENONE; FENPIVERINIUM BROMIDE Clinical-Pharmacological Group: Antispasmodic and analgesic agent. Composition and Dosage Form: Tablets: 20 pcs. per pack. 1 tab. Metamizole sodium salt ....... 500 mg Pitofenone hydrochloride ............. 5 mg Fenpiverinium bromide ........................... 0.1 mg Excipients: Lactose, wheat starch, talc, magnesium stearate, gelatin, sodium bicarbonate. Indications: The preparation is used as an antispasmodic and analgesic agent for the relief of mild to moderate pain syndromes, such as: Renal colic; Spasms of the ureter and bladder; Cholelithiasis, dyskinesia of the biliary tract; Spasms of the gastrointestinal tract; Postcholecystectomy syndrome; Chronic colitis; Dysmenorrhea; Pain of the pelvic organs; Used as an adjunct to reduce pain during surgical and diagnostic interventions; The preparation is also used for short-term symptomatic treatment of joint pain, neuralgia, sciatica, and myalgia. Dosage and Administration: For adults and children over 15 years of age, 1-2 tablets are prescribed 2-3 times a day, after meals, with liquid. The daily dose of the preparation should not exceed 6 tablets. The duration of treatment is no more than 5 days. Increasing the daily dose of the preparation or continuing treatment is possible only under the supervision of the attending physician. Contraindications: * Hypersensitivity to pyrazolone derivatives; * Tachyarrhythmia; * Decompensated heart failure; * Ischemic heart disease; * Angle-closure glaucoma; * Benign prostatic hyperplasia; * Hematological diseases; * Glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase deficiency; * Pregnancy and lactation period; * In children under 5 years of age. Special Instructions: The preparation affects psychomotor reactions, therefore it is prescribed with caution together with alcohol and CNS depressant drugs. Overdose: Symptoms: Nausea, vomiting, dry mouth, hypotension.
