International Nonproprietary Name - amylmetacresol+lidocaine+dichlorobenzyl Composition One lozenge contains: Active substances: 2,4-dichlorobenzyl alcohol 1.2 mg, amylmetacresol 0.6 mg, lidocaine hydrochloride monohydrate 10 mg. Excipients: Tartaric acid 26 mg, sodium saccharin 2.08 mg, levomenthol 2.08 mg, peppermint leaf oil 2.08 mg, anise seed oil 0.52 mg, Quinoline Yellow colorant 0.0046 mg, Indigo Carmine 0.0156 mg, liquid sucrose 1523.4 mg, liquid dextrose (dextrose, oligo- and polysaccharides) 980.9 mg. Flat cylindrical lozenges of bluish-green color with the image of the letter S on both sides of the lozenge, with a menthol aroma. The presence of white specks, minor air bubbles in the caramel mass, and uneven edges is permissible. Sucrose/isomaltase deficiency, fructose intolerance, glucose-galactose malabsorption Use during pregnancy and lactation During pregnancy and lactation, the preparation should be taken only on the recommendation of a doctor, if the expected benefit to the mother outweighs the risk to the child and fetus. Dosage and administration Read the instructions carefully before taking the preparation. Locally. Adults and children over 12 years of age: one lozenge should be slowly dissolved every 2 hours. Do not take more than 8 lozenges in 24 hours. Do not exceed the indicated dose. Duration of treatment - no more than 3 days. If symptoms persist for 3 days while taking the preparation, it is necessary to stop treatment and consult a doctor. Special instructions It is recommended to take the preparation for the shortest possible course and at the minimum effective dose necessary to relieve symptoms. In case of possible loss of tongue sensitivity, caution is recommended when consuming hot food and drinks. Patients with diabetes mellitus should consider that each lozenge contains approximately 2.6 g of sugar (0.22 PE).
